Sigrid Peuker Sigrid Peuker is a teacher and researcher at Free University Berlin in the field of entrepreneurship education. Her focus is on the development of the business idea and its congruence with the personality of the entrepreneur, his or her competencies, and goals in life. She has a strong background in communication science, new media, and knowledge management. She has been working on communication of knowledge across cultural barrieres and on group learning in face to face-settings as well as in online environments for several years. As a starting point of a project to bridge diversity and to
learn from
different experiences and views, she set up and runs an intercultural
dialogue group
of senior experts and students. As an active member of an NGO
she organizes large group events (Open Space, World Café,
Open Forums, conferences) about diversity topics and is a
coach for foreign students in Berlin. Her preferred methods in teaching and communication contexts are dialogue, Process Work, Appreciative Inquiry, and Storytelling. Sigrid Peuker's wide ranging work has included project management in an electronic publishing firm, systems administration at a weekly magazine, online journalism for Stern magazine, and teaching. She holds a masters degree in German Linguistics and Communication and Media Studies from Free University Berlin.
