The International Summer School for Women (ISSW) at Expo Shanghai 2010:
"Better Business: Women in Economy"

In 2010, the attention of the world will be turned to the Expo in Shanghai. There LDN will make a special contribution by inviting women from all over the world to study and promote their leading position in business, politics, and society.

Four weeks of intensive exchange in intercultural and multidisciplinary dialogues in varying groups and constellations will enable the participants to discuss and learn from each other's experiences. Lecturers and students will make full use of innovative methods of learning. They will transform challenges into possibilities and opportunities, and they will learn to identify their potential. They will find answers to structural change, and paths to improved performance.

Global and Local Economy, Sustainability & Corporate Responsibility, Women as Entrepreneurs, and Women in Management“ are four topics to be filled with life at Expo Shanghai.

More information on our paper (second draft, June 2006) and as short versions in German and in Chinese (all pdf.).

From June 27th to July 3rd 2006, Dr. Regine Schoenenberg, president of LDN, and Mr. Jochen Noth, senior consultant of the association, visited Shanghai and Beijing and held first discussions with parties possibly interested in ISSW. Find a short report of the visit online.
